WebJun 21, 2024 · A lot depends on your dust collector and the space you have. I would do things differently with a 1.5 hp versus a 3 hp dc. A 37 ft run on a smaller DC is difficult. With a powerful dc, you do not need to worry as much about piping. As mentioned, the type of machines and where you have them is important to know for us to help you. It makes me a little excited quite honestly :) The cut at the table saw and miter saw were to make this jointer port. Just a piece of 1/2” plywood with another 6” Take Off installed.

The other end should extend to the outlet port on the tool, but it doesn't need to connect to anything, except to keep it in place.
